Frequently Asked Questions

Below you will find answers to some of the most common questions about Concept Photography's nursery and pre-school photography.

Once the ordering deadline has passed, we have now opened the option for home delivery; however, we have found that more people are opting for digital download for instant access. Orders are sent within 10 working days from either Royal Mail / Parcelforce signed and tracked.

All orders are delivered free of charge directly to your little one's nursery or school, as long as they're placed before your setting's deadline.

Orders typically arrive within 2–3 weeks after the deadline has passed, and your setting will let you know as soon as it's ready to collect. It may occasionally arrive sooner, though delivery can sometimes be held back if your setting is temporarily closed (for example, during half-term).

No, due to safeguarding we cannot allow the group photograph to be purchased in this way and can only be purchased as a print.

Your 6x4" staff photographs are now sent with the final orders. If you need these in a different size please let the office know ASAP.

We now provide simple tools that allow you to crop and preview your images before placing your order, so you can see exactly how your chosen print will look.

Most differences occur because print sizes use slightly different proportions. For example, a 10×8 inch print has a different shape to a 6×4 inch print, which may result in some cropping.

We always aim to capture images so they work well when cropped to both 6×4 inch and the original 10×8 inch formats. However, we recommend checking your crop carefully before completing your purchase to ensure you are happy with the final result.

This is our "Extreme Close Up". We pride ourselves on taking a modern approach to photography and we always strive to offer a range of shots.

We normally provide your standard head and shoulders portrait and also offer some alternative artistic photos for variation. The close up shot is extremely popular and aims to enhance the details of your little one's eyes and facial features by doing an up-close portrait.

It tends to look great in a simple modern frame on the wall so the focus is entirely on them.

If there is something you would like changed, such as a scratch removed, please call us during our opening hours to make this request.

No, all prints are supplied unmounted.

8 x 10x8" prints, 8 x 5x4" prints, 1 x 16x12" print + 4 digital downloads. Got multiple proof sheets? No problem! You can mix and match your prints across different image sets to make the most of your bundle. Important: Please note your 4 digital downloads must all come from one picture set. If you have more than one child, make sure you have selected the correct picture set under My Picture Sets before choosing this package, as this determines which images are included as your digital downloads.

Yes, you can select images from multiple proof sheets. However, our special offers are strictly limited to one per household.

Please note that these packages are available in 10×8 inch prints only. If you would prefer more flexibility with sizes or images, our digital download options offer the best value and versatility.

These are similar to an old-school photo pack, where you choose one image and we print it in lots of different sizes for you.

As the name states, they are single image packs and you cannot mix and match images within these packs, as it is an automated process.
They make good presents to give to family as you get a variety of sizes included!

Yes! This allows you to upload your images to social media and have them printed by any high street shop or online photography website offering this service - please note digital items are non-refundable.

We supply images cropped to 10x8" at 305 dpi. These are the same files we print from and they should print up to 16x12" without quality loss.

Please note that we are unable to give assistance with using third party printing companies.

Yes, discounts are available however, please note that our 4 digital images for £55 offer applies to images selected from the same proof sheet only. We are unable to combine images across multiple proof sheets at that price.

Each proof sheet represents a separate set of photographs, each requiring its own time to shoot, edit, and prepare to a professional standard, which is why each set is priced individually.

To explore your options, simply add the images you'd like to your basket and any applicable discounts will be automatically applied at checkout.

We usually keep images from a nursery backed up for at least 2 years. Please contact us to find out if we still have the images if your shoot was longer than 2 years ago.

In the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied, please return the prints to us along with a short note explaining the issue, including your contact details. We will resolve this as quickly as possible.

We can offer a replacement print or a refund where appropriate.

Please note:

- Any concerns must be raised within 14 days of receiving your order.

- Digital products are non-refundable

- A reprinting fee may apply where changes are requested after ordering (for example, selecting a different image or crop). Of course, if the issue is due to an error on our part, this will be corrected at no cost.

Concept Photography Ltd owns the copyright to all images taken at our photo shoots. However, we always ask permission if we wish to use anyone's image for advertising or display purposes.

Please be aware that attempting to remove or bypass our watermarks, whether by screenshotting, using AI tools, image editing software, or any other method, is a breach of copyright law and may result in legal action. All of our images are legally protected and any unauthorised reproduction or manipulation of them will be taken extremely seriously.
